PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

BPT do not hydrolyzes very rapidly with water at normal temperature. The two reactive chlorine atoms are

capable of reacting with alcohols, phenols, and amines to form the corresponding neutral esters and amides.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:

BPT and its derivatives are used as an intermediate to make plasticizers, antioxidants, stabilizers,

pesticides, catalysts and high pressure lubricant additives and in lacquer formulatings.
